Book & Media Donations

We accept book and media donations at our Cherry Lane, Orchard Park, and Silverstone locations. Books must be published in the last 20 years and in excellent condition. 

We evaluate donated items on the same basis as purchased materials. Items may be added to the library’s collection, donated to the Friends of the Meridian Library District for book sales, or disposed of at the discretion of the library. The library reserves the right to refuse donated items due to space limitations, condition of the materials, and/or requests for special treatment or tracking of donations.  

The Friends of the Meridian Library District is a nonprofit volunteer organization that fundraises and provides program support for the Meridian Library District, primarily through book sales.
