Summer Reading 2022 is coming up June 1 to July 31. This year’s theme is “Ocean of Possibilities." 

This program is open to ages 0-16.

Help us kick off Summer Reading with an outdoor celebration! 

Stop by more than 30 activity booths, learn about community resources, and grab dinner from a food truck. Treasure Valley Children’s Theater will be putting on a special performance of “Voyage of the Forgotten” at 5:30 p.m. 

And of course, make sure to sign up for the Meridian Library’s Summer Reading program to get a free book!

  • Summer Reading registration opens Wednesday, June 1.
  • At that time, you can sign up on Beanstack or in person at our Cherry Lane, Silverstone, or Tiny Library locations.
  • Register by Wednesday, June 15, to receive a FREE book! 

Early Learners (Ages 0-5)

  • Complete the Summer Reading program and win a book by practicing an early literacy skill (reading, singing, talking, playing, or writing) for 20 minutes a day for at least 30 days.

School Age (Ages 6-16)

  • Complete the Summer Reading program and win a book by reading 20 minutes a day for at least 30 days.
  • Complete 10 fun activities in our Extreme Explorer Challenge to earn an exclusive library card!
