Find a Golden Ticket by Dec. 15, 2023

Breaking News! Will you be one of the children to find a golden ticket?

Get ready for some SCRUMDIDDLYUMPTIOUS fun! Meridian Library District is pleased to announce that from Nov. 15-Dec. 15, 2023, 25 Golden Tickets will be hidden in 25 books in the Youth and Teen sections of our Cherry Lane, Orchard Park, and Silverstone branches!

Children that find a Golden Ticket hidden in the pages of a book will win two tickets to the Dec. 16, 2023 matinee showing of the new Wonka movie at the Village Cinema in Meridian. The new Wonka movie (PG) is based on the beloved Roald Dahl Character, Willy Wonka, and chronicles his origin story and how he came to own the most famous Chocolate Factory. 

You found a ticket, now what?

Do not tarry, do not delay! Unlike an Everlasting Gobstopper, Golden Tickets don’t last forever! Upon finding a Golden Ticket in a book, bring the ticket to the main desk of the branch listed on the back of your ticket to claim your prize! Tickets must be redeemed in the branch by Dec. 15, 2023.
