Program Description

Event Details

Boise State University (BSU) operates a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program that is available to anyone who makes $67,000 or less annually. VITA’s IRS-certified tax preparers are available to help you prepare your tax returns!

Appointments are available at Orchard Park on Fridays, 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Visit the BSU VITA webpage for information, documents required for tax preparation, and links to helpful resources, including IRS Free File.
To sign up for an appointment, register here.

(Note: Walk-ins may be accepted if the visitor has all required identification and documentation, and if there is capacity.)

Taxpayers can begin the tax process online at this Hub on their own schedule and have the tax returns prepared. Taxpayers will need to upload documents to the Hub. Once the tax return is prepared, VITA can review the return with the taxpayer in person or virtually.
