Items from other Meridian Library District locations and LYNX! Consortium libraries may be returned at the Tiny Library during open hours. However, holds pick-up is not available at this location.
The Tiny Library opened at The Hill campus in South Meridian in October 2018. This unique interactive learning library was created from a repurposed 320-square-foot shipping container. The Tiny Library is designed to help prepare early learners for kindergarten. Rotating collections and activities focus on the five early learning practices: talking, playing, singing, writing, and reading. In addition to board books, picture books, and Easy Readers, families can check out early literacy kits filled with curated items for different ages. The space also includes a small collection for parents and teachers.

- Community Development Grant (First Interstate Bank Foundation)
- Library Innovation Award (Penguin Random House Foundation)
- Earl and Lila Hill (private donation for purchasing children's books)
