If you’re curious about what smartphones can do and why they’ve grown so popular, come to this introductory lecture. You’ll learn about popular smartphones on the market and some of their pros and cons. We’ll also compare and contrast two of the most popular operating systems: Android and Apple’s iOS.

Senior Planet aims to enable older adults to come together and find ways to learn, work, create, exercise, and thrive in today’s digital age. Please join us for our 60 minute lecture introducing a popular tech topic and theme in a clear and concise manner. Individual lectures aim to explain the general purpose of a device or concept, its usefulness and important tips and tricks. Led by Cherry Lane's Community librarian, and hosted at the Meridian Senior Center in Kleiner Park, this Senior Planet series is the perfect beginning step for our patrons over 55.
