Kindergarten Readiness Parent Workshop: Session 2 

After reviewing the results from the Ages and Stages questionnaire completed in the previous session, Lee Pesky Learning Center training specialists will provide an individual plan for each family including specific activities the family can do at home that are easy to implement and are focused on their child’s developmental needs.

Participants will learn how to navigate the transition from home and/or preschool to kindergarten. Lee Pesky Learning Center training specialists will define what a self-regulated learner looks like and teach participants how to help their children build emotional intelligence. In addition, participants will be sent home with a social-emotional learning mat.

Session 3 is April 18. Attendance at the 2 sessions is recommended, but not mandatory.

This class for parents and adults of children will be held at the same time as the Kindergarten All-Stars class, so parents of Kindergarten All-Stars participants can attend.
