Event Details

It is a truth universally acknowledged that a beloved author must be celebrated on her 250th birthday. Join us to celebrate Jane Austen and her literary legacy. Enjoy crafts, trivia, and more while learning from experts, and end the celebration with a showing of Pride and Prejudice (2005).

Agenda:

  • 12:30 p.m. “Jane Austen’s Bookshelf and Our Bookshelf of Jane Austen” — Ann Campbell, BSU and JASNA, explores the literature that nurtured and inspired Austen, and the ways modern readers are inspired by Austen
  • 1:00 p.m. Booths — the Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA) presents historical clothing, an author of Jane Austen murder mysteries, and more!
  • 2:00 p.m. Pride and Prejudice (2005) — Watch the movie with other Austenites
