COVID-19 and Service Updates
The Meridian Library District aligns operations and services with the established Levels of Transmission rates set by Central District Health for Ada County. See the full COVID-19 operations plan here. Ada County is currently in High community transmission, and our current services and protocols are outlined below:
Face coverings / Face masks
Face coverings/masks are required inside all Meridian Library locations when Ada County is identified as being in a High or Substantial transmission category. This applies to everyone age 2 and older, regardless of vaccination status. Read the full Code of Conduct Addendum.
We offer free disposable face masks. You can pick one up on your way inside the library.
If you have a fever, cough or other symptoms, you might have COVID-19. If you are sick, do not enter the library.
We offer hand sanitizer throughout the library. Staff frequently sanitize high-touch surfaces, such as computers.
Please practice social distancing in the library. Stay 6 feet away from people who are not members of your household.
We offer virtual Preschool Storytime on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. on Zoom, and additional online opportunities. Please check our events calendar for more information.
