Why do I have to wear a mask in the library?

Wearing masks helps ensure that residents are able to move freely through the community. According to Gov. Little’s reopening plan, the state could face another lockdown if we see a flare-up of COVID-19 cases. We are doing our part to preserve everyone’s liberty and help our state proceed through the stages of reopening.

As the CDC explains, COVID-19 can be spread by people who do not have symptoms and do not know that they are infected. Masks reduce those risks by prevening respiratory droplets from traveling in the air. When you wear a face mask, you are doing your part to protect those around you.
