Join us as we discuss the 2019 Treasure Valley Reads selected title, "There, There" by Tommy Orange. The story follows twelve modern, urban Native Americans living in Oakland, California as they each meet for their own reasons at the Big Oakland Powwow. The novel has been described as, "groundbreaking, extraordinary," (The New York Times), "masterful... white-hot... devastating," (The Washington Post), and "the year's most galvanizing debut novel" (Entertainment Weekly).  It was named One of the Best Books of 2018 by many outlets including NPR, O, The Oprah MagazineLibrary JournalKirkus Reviews, and The Washington Post
