Teen Volunteer Orientation

Allowed Ages: 18 to 18+

Interested in helping the library make a difference in the community? We’d love to have you on our volunteer team! Teen volunteers are at least 12 years old and help increase our capacity for serving more people in the community by assisting with holds & shelving, library events, seasonal programs, or the Summer Reading Program (June-August).

Becoming a Volunteer

  2. Browse the Volunteer Program Introduction and Volunteer Policies for information about the role Teen volunteers play at MLD.  

  3. Like what you see? Fill out the Teen Volunteer FormYou will receive an automated welcome via email that will include invitations to our next Teen Volunteer Orientation.

  4. Let us know which orientation option you can attend or email volunteer@mld.org for questions.

Are you in middle school and completing 4 hours or less of community service hours for school? Instead of attending orientation, attend Service Saturday every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 10 am-12 pm at Meridian Library at Cherry Lane. Please reserve your spot by signing-up for a Service Saturday event from the volunteer page.
