Mighty Readers is a new Meridian community book club! Kids, grades 3-5, have the opportunity to read and keep three copies of selected books, and to meet and chat with their peers and our community's leaders at the monthly book club meetings. When you sign up, you commit to attend each of the three meetings for Session 1: October - December. Meetings are held at the Meridian Library at Cherry Lane on the first Thursday of the month. Anyone who has read the book may attend the book club meetings.

For Session 1 we will be reading:

October 4 - Because of Mr. Terupt, Rob Buyea

November 1 - Out of My Mind, Sharon Draper

December 6 - The Tale of Despereaux: Being the Story of a Mouse, a Princess, Some Soup, and a Spool of Thread, Kate DiCamillo

Thanks to all of you in the community who asked for this program! We're excited to make it a reality!

We are so appreciative of Ronda Conger and CBH Homes for sponsoring Session 1 of Mighty Readers.

Seats are limited, so sign up now, and tell your friends!
