Becoming a Volunteer

  1. Learn more about MLD’s core values and mission in the community by viewing our Strategic Plan.

  2. Browse the volunteer handbook and volunteer policy for information about the role volunteers play at MLD.

  3. Like what you see? Fill out the Adult Volunteer Application. You will receive an automated welcome via email that will include invitations to our next orientations.

  4. Let us know which orientation option you can attend or email pamela@mld.org for questions.

Do you have a child in middle school who is completing less than 4 community service hours for school? Attend Service Saturday instead every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 10 am-12 pm at Meridian Library at Cherry Lane. Please reserve your spot by signing-up for a Service Saturday event from the volunteer page.
