Craft to Give Back
Craft to Give Back volunteer opportunities are designed to find creative ways to provide community support. This unique opportunity allows volunteers to pick up donated supplies at Cherry Lane to create items that give back in various ways.
In 2022 the Craft to Give Back project included sewing fidget quilts for senior living communities in Meridian. These lap-sized blankets provide tactile stimulation and calming activities for people experiencing challenges with cognitive change or dementia. Email volunteer@mld.org to learn more.
