Children's Programs at the Main Library

Drop-In Programs

Baby Bugs (6 to 18 months) Join us Monday mornings at 11:30 a.m. for bubbles, music, stories, and more! Enjoy some quality time with your baby as he laughs, dances, and learns!

Tot Time (18 months to 3 years) and Preschool Storytime (3 to 6 years) Children become reading-ready as they dance, sing, laugh and learn with great stories and music every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00 a.m. This storytime will help your child develop literacy, social and communication skills.

P J Storytime (all ages) Drop in Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. for stories, music, puppets and more! Wear your PJs, bring your Teddy Bear, and enjoy a family night at the library!

Saturday Programming Get the best of both worlds with Story and a Craft! Create your own masterpiece in an all-ages, kid-friendly environment. Drop in the first Saturday of the month at 11:00 a.m. and enjoy all the library has to offer!

Preteens (10-12 years) Come join the Preteen Group for a variety of fun projects, from arts and crafts or readers' theater to wacky science experiments and book-chat. We meet the first and third Tuesday of the month from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Sign-Up Programs

Silly Song and Dance & Preschool Art (three to six years) Offers opportunities to hop, skip, jump and boogie! Preschool Art (3-6 years) can help improve fine motor skills in a fun and creative environment. Sign up to participate in these three consecutive Friday classes. Watch our calendar for when sign-ups begin.

World Travel at the Library (seven to eleven years) Travel with us around the world on the third Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m. Sign up to enjoy music, food, games and crafts while learning about a new country each month. Homeschoolers will meet the following Monday at 2:00 p.m.
