Interlibrary Loan

Items that are not available through our Treasure Valley Consortium libraries may be requested through our Interlibrary Loan service.  Current year materials and items on bestseller lists are not available for interlibrary loan.  Please be aware that it may take several weeks to receive an item and the item may not be renewable.  To defray shipping costs, a $2.00 fee will be assessed for any item not picked up.

Items from Twin Falls, Hailey, Mountain Home and Emmett will be treated as Interlibrary Loan, due to items having to be mailed from these locations.

Meridian patrons may place two interlibrary loan requests per week, either in-person, by phone  or by email.  All items must be returned to the Meridian Library or one of it's branches.

Interlibrary loan is a free service to patrons of our library, and costs may only be involved for photocopies or for  materials on loan from academic or special libraries.  Any potential costs will be approved by the borrower in advance.
