Summer Reading Programs

Summer Reading Program: Our yearly reading program features three prize levels and raffle prizes. Levels are completed after eight hours of reading. After level 3 is complete, each additional eight hours of reading will be a bonus level entry for raffle drawings. We will have a drawing each week for Cherry Lane and Silverstone/Bookmobile, with a grand prize drawing at the end of the summer. Check the half-sheet insert of our flyer for more information.

Teen Advisory Board Reading ChallengeTAB A-Z Challenge: Our Teen Advisory Board is hosting a new type of reading challenge this year. To participate you must read a book that starts with each letter of the alphabet. Prizes will be given at three levels of reading accomplishment for reading nine, eighteen, and twenty-six books. We have a list of samples that might help you get started, plus a printable bookmark to help keep you organized!

Meridian BINGO: We're trying something new this year and have a BINGO game that is open to all ages. Download a BINGO sheet or pick up a copy from one of our three locations. Prizes will be given for straight line BINGOs and for "blackouts"--completing all BINGO squares.

Visit our Summer Reading page for more information, including the forms to log your reads!
