We are pleased to announce a new Winter Reading Program that the entire family can enjoy! To get started, visit http://mld2016.readsquared.com/ to register your entire family. You can print off a paper log, or track your reading online. Don't worry, you can backdate your reading entries so you don't have to log your minutes every day. Each minute you read will earn you a point. You can also get points for attending programs at the library, reading books off a reading list, or much more! Get started today so the entire family can earn a free book and some hot cocoa.
Are you between the ages of 8 and 12? Love Lego walls, iPads, robots, crafts, movies, books, and more? Want the chance to get your hands on new books before anyone else and make cool video trailers or podcasts about them? Have ideas about how we can make the library an awesome place to hang out?
Then you need to be on the Tween Advisory Board!
The Tween Advisory Board will consist of a group of 10 tweens from all backgrounds and abilities who are passionate about making a difference in the life of the Meridian Library. We'll meet once a month to brainstorm new ideas, select books, movies, apps and games for the library to purchase, and create an awesome library environment for peers. And, we'll have snacks.
Checkout a free mobile wifi hotspot from Meridian Library locations.
The hotspot allows you to connect a tablet, phone, or laptop to Internet service,
on the go!. Fill out a request form to reserve yours today. More information...
